About Us

The Farm

Vishwell Farm started life as a dairy farm which served the local community until the mid 1980s, before converting to beef cattle, which the farm continues to produce today.

The caravan site is surrounded by our 80 acres of farmland which our cattle roam throughout the year. As well as cattle in our fields, you may also spot our horse and donkeys.

The farmhouse is over 200 years old and used to be the milking parlour, before it was converted in the early 2000s.

The farm has a long-established history with the local community-you'll even find a mention of Vishwell Farm on the walls of St. Mary's Church, Wenvoe, from the 1800s!

The Family

David (pictured centre) and his wife Thelma established the caravan site when they took over the farm in the 1960s.  They had two children, Claire and Daniel. David's grandson, Matthew (pictured second from the left), has run the farm and caravan site alongside his grandfather since 2020.

Both David and Matthew live on site in the farmhouse buildings, and Matthew is on call 24/7 should you need him.
